How True Therapy Started

True Therapy was founded in 2021 by Claire Edworthy and is built on a genuine passion for wellbeing, beauty, and helping others feel their very best. Claire first qualified as a beauty therapist in 2004, beginning a career that allowed her to develop strong technical expertise alongside a deep understanding of the importance of relaxation, confidence, and self-care. She spent seven years working within the beauty industry, gaining valuable experience and forming strong, lasting relationships with her clients.

After taking a break from the profession to raise her family, Claire soon realised how much she missed her true calling. The connection with clients, the hands-on nature of therapy, and the opportunity to make a positive difference to people’s wellbeing remained central to who she was. With this realisation, Claire made the decision to return to beauty therapy,  a choice that reignited her passion and allowed her to bring renewed care and dedication to her work. Since returning, she has never looked back.
